International Use of the MAYSI-2

esearchers and juvenile justice programs in numerous countries have registered to use the MAYSI-2. This has led to translation of the MAYSI-2 into many languages by researchers who have been investigating its use.

If you are conducting research on the MAYSI-2 in populations that speak languages other than English,  we may be able to help you locate or develop translations into other languages. By contacting NYSAP@umassmed.edu, we may be able to connect you with other researchers who already have done the translation to the language that you need.

In order to do your own translation of MAYSI-2, you must have permission from NYSAP and the publisher of the MAYSI-2 (Professional Resource Press).    Typically permission will be granted for research projects, as long as this does not interfere with the publisher’s rights.   Simply contact us at NYSAP@umassmed.edu and we will work with you to achieve your objectives.
