The MAYSI-2 User's Manual contains instructions for using the MAYSI-2, the newly published National Norms Chapter, the MAYSI-2 Questionnaire in both English and Spanish, the Scoring Key & Summary, and Second Screening Forms. These forms are all for the paper-and-pencil version of the MAYSI-2. The manual also contains a MAYSI-2 registration form which you must complete and send to NYSAP in order to register to use the MAYSI-2 in your facility. You must also purchase and register this manual if you wish to use MAYSIWARE in your facility. MAYSIWARE User's Guide with CD (2006)
MAYSIWARE is the electronic version of the MAYSI-2, with many additional features. It contains both English & Spanish versions of the MAYSI-2 and the youth can choose to take an English or Spanish version of the MAYSI-2. Both the Spanish & English versions have an auditory component, so the youth does not only see the questions, but can also hear them in his/her chosen language.
The MAYSI-2 is scored automatically by the software and based on the MAYSI-2 results, reports are generated. These reports can be customized by the user and second screening forms can also be included in the report.
