Welcome to the website for the MAYSI-2. The Massachusetts Youth Screening Instrument-Second Version is a brief screening tool designed to assist juvenile justice facilities in identifying youths at admission who may have special mental health needs.
You can use the drop-down lists above to help you navigate through the MAYSI website. You will also see a drop-down list for the NYSAP website, the National Youth Screening & Assessment Project, which is our program to support mental health screening in juvenile justice programs. Additionally, you will see a drop-down list for MAYSIWARE, which will take you to the website for the software version of the MAYSI-2.
